Today's project is another easy project although the time commitment is a little longer due to the nature of dealing with candle wax. The project is simply a collection of pillar candles that are then decorated with red and/or black candle drips.
To accomplish the look, place a piece of wax paper on your surface. Place the pillar candle that you want to decorate in the center of the wax paper. Light your red candle and start puddling the red wax along the top of the pillar candle. My white candles had a dip in the center of the pillar so I had to run the red candle wax along the lip of the pillar candle so it would spill down the side of the candle. Rotate the pillar candle until you get the coverage you desire. After the sides of the candle have been decorated, fill the depressed center on the candle top.
The black candle has a tapered top so that the red wax had to be place directly on the side of the candle. Once the sides of the candle are decorated, pool the red wax on the top of the candle.
The total time to perform this project was 30 minutes but it was a very easy project to complete.
