Week 10

This week's card is a baby shower announcement. It has been a long time since I have broken out my stamps and stamp pads but the host of the party wanted a handmade look. The card is a three panel folded card that opens up to show the announcement and the included book plate for the proposed gift. In lieu of gifts, guests were asked to provide books for the baby's library. The custom book plates were to be filled out and then pasted into the book as a gift to the family.

The card is an asymmetrical card in that part of the cover is shorter and tucks under the stamped foot that appears on the left side of the card.
